We've been talking about who can do it and who can't for several years now. We're very happy that we've been working with the Nike SB brand for more than 14 years, because Nike SB really can do it. We enjoy their collaborations across the entire spectrum of skateboarding culture, and it's clear that they also entertain the people around them. Nike SB supports small independent skate brands and skateshops and gives them primetime thanks to joint limited shoe models. It combines its name with the names of selected riders from its own team. Other collaborations could easily go into the film or music industry, combat sports, or support a craft lemonade brand. The resulting mix of all of this seems fresh and never gets old.
We've compiled a top ten list of the best limited edition shoe models that Nike Skateboarding's craft workshop served us last year '23.

10. Run The Jewels Pack
Nike SB Dunk High and Dunk Low in a special limited edition collaboration with rap duo Run The Jewels. RTJ is made up of Killer Mike and El-P. Together, they blend classic hip-hop with current trends, and their iconic sound is influenced by Brooklyn and Atlanta. Over hard bass beats, they rap about criticizing social dynamics, systems, and the search for justice. They are sometimes nicknamed "Yankee and the Brave," after the New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves baseball teams. The shoe's colorway is inspired by the duo's latest albums: RTJ3 and RTJ4.
9. Albino n Preto
The Dunk Low model is a collaboration with Albino & Preto, a brand that produces classic kimonos and casual apparel. The design is inspired by a modern approach to classic kimonos and the tradition of Jiu-Jitsu. The materials and workmanship reflect their unique aesthetic and dedication to the culture. With gradual wear, the upper will reveal colorful details representing the belt system. The colored belts are also referenced in the replacement laces. The shades of the belts symbolize the progress and determination that BJJ and skateboarding undoubtedly share.
8. Powerpuff Girls
The Nike SB x Powerpuff Girls Dunk Low is inspired by the iconic 90s series Powerpuff Girls in the Czech version ''Raketové holky'', in three colorways: Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup. The original comic book style has made its way not only into the box, but also onto the insoles of the shoes. Each pair is tuned down to the last detail. From the embroidered signature eye of the superheroes on the heel, through original insoles and reflective elements, to the sole in a unique colorway and the upper with a satin finish.
7. April
Nike SB Dunk Low shoe model in a special edition with the April Skateboards brand. Founded by skater Shane O'Neill, it is mainly engaged in the production of boards, but also designs its own clothing and accessories. In addition to Shane, you will also find Yuto Horigome, Guy Mariano, Rayssa Leal and others in their team. The upper of the shoes is made of a combination of three different materials - suede, leather and mesh. The light blue panels are made of brushed suede, which will gradually lighten with wear. The toe is made of leather with perforations for better ventilation, the middle panel and heel are made of thick mesh with X-shaped stitching. On the sides there is a shiny plastic Swoosh, which matches the logo on the tongue and the April x Nike inscriptions on the heel. The inner liner has a contrasting orange color with a rose motif, which you can also find from below on the clear sole. Thick fatty tongue with a leather Nike SB label, the April inscription is embossed on the outer side of the heel.
6. Born x Raised
A neighborhood is defined by the people who champion and preserve its culture. Founded in 2013 by Chris “Spanto” Printup and Alex “2Tone” Erdmann, Los Angeles-based label Born X Raised celebrates the culture and vitality of its community through the apparel, films and events it creates. Like the slogan “On the Turf” repeated on the label, tongue and heel, the Nike SB Dunk Low Born X Raised features a perspective from the field and “One Block at a Time,” bringing the typography, colors and personality of LA street culture into every aspect of the design. In addition to the city’s colors (blue and white), it adds pink and the brand’s own artwork inspired by scarf patterns and typography that tells the story of Los Angeles in the 80s and 90s .
5. Tightbooth
The Japanese brand was founded by skater and director Shinpei Ueno in 2005 in Osaka, and originated from the original Tightbooth Produciton. The production behind the "Lenz" video series, which highlights the best talents in the Japanese skate scene. The brand later started producing clothing and thus became an independent clothing label. The upper of the shoes combines textures and materials in a unique arrangement. The black panels are made of suede, the white ones of leather with a texture of corrugated metal. There is a black swoosh on the sides with a contrasting orange Tightbooth flag and a black Nike inscription on the heel. The flag matches the inner lining, on which you will find the Nike SB x Tightbooth inscriptions. A thick fatty tongue with a dot motif and the Nike SB and Tightbooth logos. The toe is perforated for better ventilation. Reflective elements of the tongue dots and the NIKE inscription on the heels glow in the dark when illuminated by light.
4. Crenshaw Skate Club
Dunk SB shoes in collaboration with Crenshaw Skate Club. CSC was founded by Tobias Mclntosh at the age of 14 to unite his gang and other skaters from the neighborhood. It grew into a global brand and community. Tobey's design draws on color, history and iconography. The low-top version has an upper made of a combination of brushed suede with a perforated toe and smooth leather with a cracked pattern. The lightweight cupsole also has a Zoom Air cushioning cushioning. Cartoon illustrations are visible through the clear sole. A tongue gusset ensures a perfectly fitting fit that guarantees excellent contact with the board and its control. Thicker tongue with Nike SB label and padded ankle collar for greater comfort, with a contrasting swoosh on the side. Insole with cartoon graphics and Crenshaw Skate Club signature. You will find other elaborate details on the heel and inside. In the package there are spare colored laces and a second pair of insoles with a tie-dye motif.
3. Jarritos
Mexican company Jarritos has been making sodas since 1950. The shoe design draws inspiration from the history of Jarritos and the original canvas bags used to pick fruit. Citrus colors and illustrations refer to the legendary logo with a jug. The abrasion-resistant canvas cover layer hides the color Safety Orange. The low version has an upper made of a combination of smooth leather, suede and a canvas cover layer with a perforated toe. The lightweight cupsole also has a Zoom Air cushion that absorbs shocks. A wedge on the tongue ensures a perfectly fitting cut, which guarantees excellent contact with the board and its control. A thicker tongue with a Nike SB label and a padded ankle collar for greater comfort, a contrasting swoosh on the side. The inner sole has a graphic of labels with the flavors of each soda and the Nike SB x Jarritos logo. You will find embroidered logos of both brands on the heel.
2. Yuto
Nike SB Dunk Low shoe model in a limited collection released in collaboration with team rider Yuto Horigome. Yuto is the first ever gold medalist in the skateboarding - street category from the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games. His other achievements include several gold medals from the X-Games and Street League. The Nike SB x Yuto Horigome collaboration Dunks are the first to bear Yuto's name. The shoes have an upper made of smooth leather with a perforated toe. The lightweight cupsole also features a Zoom Air cushion for shock absorption. The tongue gusset ensures a perfectly fitting cut, which guarantees excellent contact with the board and its control. Thick textile tongue with Nike SB logo and padded ankle collar for greater comfort, classic swoosh on the side. Yuto Horigome's signature on the tongue, and the feather symbol, which is Yuto's family crest, is embossed on the heel.
1. Air Jordan 4
The iconic Air Jordan 4 Retro model in collaboration with Nike SB in the colorway Sail/ White- Pinge Green- Neutral Grey aka "Pine Green". The Jordans are modified for skateboarding. The upper mesh is made of a rubber compound, the sole is slightly thinner and has more rubber parts (so it is very flexible), the tongue is more padded. The Retro Jordan 4 has an upper made of a combination of suede and smooth leather with a rubber mesh. The lightweight sole with an Air bubble under the heel absorbs shocks and at the same time ensures sufficient board feel.
