Dime is a Canadian skateboarding company founded in 2005 and based in Montreal.
Over time, the group of friends has developed into one of the best skate brands in the world, which regularly releases its funny skate videos, runs a skate shop, creates collections focused on clothing and accessories, and most importantly organizes one of the best skate contests in the world called Dime Glory Challenge , which is not a classic competition format that doesn't really belong to skateboarding, but rather fun and entertainment combined with the best skateboarding in the world.
And it underlines their motto "humor first, skating second".
Dime is one of the cleanest and most fun brands out there right now. Dime is 100% committed to supporting the grassroots subculture of skateboarding, yet has an incredibly broad appeal and reach. Dime is simple, readable, unpretentious, yet groundbreaking and unique. With all the competition in the skate brand space, that's saying a lot.
The brand was founded by Antoine Asselin, Philippe Lavoie, Bob Lasalle, Hugo Balek, Charles Rivard, Eric Riedl and Alexis Lacroix. Vincent Tsang was later hired as artistic director and head of marketing. The goal was simple: to create great and fun skate videos that would show their Montreal spots.
Dime, but it soon also affected many other people just outside the skate community, such as Virgil Abloh, Kaytranada and Lily Rose Depp, and thus became a global phenomenon.
We are very happy that we managed to reach out to Dime and be included on their list of sellers.
