Tyshawn Pro Model

Tyshawn Jones was raised in the rough and tumble of the Bronx. TJ started skating at age 10 in the predominantly black and Hispanic working-class neighborhood of Hackensack, only to later move to the Bronx, the center of NYC's concrete jungle. He was approached by a Supreme skate shop as a kid, but TJ declined. A few months later, by chance, he took him to Lafayette Street to buy some hardware, and that was the beginning of their mutual flow collaboration, which resulted in the short edit BUDDY with Jason Dill, shot for Supreme by Bill Strobeck in 2012. A few years later, TJ became the resident face of the Supreme brand and you've seen him in videos like Cherry and Blessed.

In 2014, he started a collaboration with adidas, highlighted by the Away Days video, which was a huge success, and he is slowly but surely starting his way to further success. TJ is the 2018 SOTY. The first skater from New York to win this prestigious award. In 2017, he founded the Hardies brand with his friends, which is also very popular and is rising. He becomes a member of the Fucking Awesome team. He founded the Tastes So Good restaurant in NY, which specializes in American and Caribbean food. Tyshawn is stepping into it in many directions, and to make matters worse, adidas is releasing his first Pro Model shoe these days.

The shoe was designed in collaboration with Scott Johnston and is a basketball-inspired mid-top construction.

The official release is July 18th and you can also find them in the adidas Skateboarding range of our store.
