A Quickstrike collection of the iconic Dunk Low Pro QS model from Nike SB in collaboration with the rock band Grateful Dead. The design is based on marching bears, whose origins come from the artwork of their 1973 LP History of Grateful Dead, Volume 1 (Bear's Choice). These cartoon characters were a reference to Owsley Stanley, the audio engineer nicknamed Bear, who helped the band develop their Wall of Sound sound system, among other things. This is a premium edition with an upper made of smooth leather and furry faux fur and is packaged in a QS striped box. The thicker padded tongue from older Dunk models also returns. The jagged swoosh symbolizes the collars that bears wore around their necks. The lightweight cupsole outsole also has a Zoom Air cushioning cushioning and is in a blue and yellow design . A tongue gusset ensures a perfectly fitting cut that guarantees excellent contact with the board and its control. A modified Achilles and ankle cuff with padding for added comfort. A Nike SB and Grateful Dead signature patch on the tongue. There's also a hidden pocket in the tongue for small items.
