Hockey Skateboards, or simply Hockey, is the brainchild of Anthony Van Engelen and Jason Dill and is therefore a sister brand of the Fucking Awesome label. The boards are made of super high-quality wood and their graphic motifs correspond to the rough, fast and tough street skateboarding of team riders such as Nike SB rider Donovan Piscopo, or Ben Kadow, John Fitzgerald, and Kevin Rodrigues. A small collection of clothing also matches the boards and you can choose unique T-shirts, sweatshirts, or accessories with the Hockey Skateboards signature. When asked why the name Hockey? AVE answers clearly and simply: "It's a bit brutal, just like hockey". One of the very first graphics was a face in an old hockey goalie mask and the motto they still keep to this day.
