Tightbooth was formed from the original Tightbooth Production in 2005 and was founded by director Shinpei Ueno in Osaka, Japan. They started out as a team that made skateboard videos such as the "Lenz" series, which showcased the best talent in the Japanese skate scene. They then moved on to produce clothing and became an independent clothing label. They are currently gaining attention from overseas, building bridges between skateboarding and fashion in Japan.
