The legend and professional skater who built the San Francisco streetwear store HUF into a global brand of the same name died Thursday at his home in LA at the age of 46.
Huf grew up as a skater in the 1980s in New York City, where he was part of one of the world's first iconic generations and subcultures of street skateboarding. In 1992, he moved to California and turned professional, riding for companies like Real Skateboards, Thunder Trucks, and Spitfire Wheels.
